Tai Chi Chuan is an internal Chinese martial art practiced for centuries for both its defence training and its health benefits. Today, Tai Chi Chuan offers people of every age and condition a system of slow meditative physical exercise for relaxation, balance and health.
The Yang style, founded by Yang Luchan (1799-1872), is one of the most popular styles of Tai Chi Chuan around the world. Its standard form is characterised by the slow, gentle, open and circular movements one often sees practised in the parks in China and Hong Kong.
New students welcome! All are welcome. No previous experience or level of fitness is required.
Relaxed, loose clothing is ideal.
